Tons of rumors were surrounding the Olympus E-P1 long before the release. Only just recently released, there are already rumors indicating that Olympus E-P2 is on the way. The major physical upgrade shall be a built-in viewfinder. Currently E-P1 users need to purchase a separate viewfinder to fit into the camera’s hot shoe. User is not able to plug in an external flash then.
Sony announced “Exmor R” CMOS Sensor today. According to Sony, it is twice as sensitive as conventional CMOS sensors thanks to back-illuminated technology that places metal wiring beneath the photo diode instead of above it. This allows smoother movement in action sequences and higher image quality in dark conditions.
The DSLR-A380 features a stylish, modern design with an intuitive button layout for easier operation. In addition, the lightweight body and revised grip make the camera more comfortable to hold and carry.

Quietly Sony Hong Kong’s Official site uploaded the user manual for Sony Alpha DSLR-A850’s.
After the recent release of Sony Alpha DSLR-A380, DSLR-A330 and DSLR-A230, maybe we will be seeing a strip down version of Sony Alpha DSLR-A900. According to the specification from the manual, DSLR-A850 is 24 megapixel full frame camera, similar to DSLR-A900.
