First specialized professional imaging and photography event in South East Asia and the Pacific Region opens on Friday!

The first specialized professional imaging and photography event in South-East-Asia and The Pacific region -- Imaging Expo Singapore, incorporating P.I.X - Photo Imaging X-change 2007 will be opened by Guest-of-Honor - Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, and Second Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts Dr Vivian Balakrishnan; on 2 November at Hall 601 of Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The 3-day event will end on 4 November 2007 and acts as a trade and educational platform that merges art with the technology of imaging and photography.

Olympus

Olympus E3 Splash Proof Test (Video)

Even though you own an Olympus E3 or any other weatherproof dSLR it is not advisable to do the following. The less than 1 minute video below is a splash proof test of Olympus recently released E3.

The man poured water over the E3 body which was attached with a 12-60 F2.8-4.0 Zuiko glass. I am not sure if it survives the test but I personally do have confidence on the new Olympus E3’s built.
