Olympus published firmware updates for Olympus E-3, ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9-18mm F4.0-5.6, ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-54mm F2.8-3.5 II and ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 70-300mm F4.0-5.6.
Changes in the new firmware:
Olympus E-3 Version 1.3
- Enhanced the accuracy of the battery check when using the Power Battery Holder HLD-4. Improved AF accuracy for large aperture lenses. Improved sequential shooting speed when using C-AF.
ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9-18mm F4.0-5.6 Version 1.1
- Improved IMAGER AF operation under certain conditions.
ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-54mm F2.8-3.5 II Version 1.1
- Exif focal length information is now displayed correctly.
ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 70-300mm F4.0-5.6Version 1.2
- IMAGER AF is available when supported by the camera. *Depending on the condition of the subject, the focusing speed near the telephoto end may slow down to maintain focusing accuracy
Olympus users can updates the above firmware through Olympus Master or Olympus Studio.
