Photoscala published a two-paged scan from a German magazine July-August issue at page 86 and 87 claiming that Nikon D700 is not a rumor after all and Nikon has introduced a new external flash named SB-900.

Nikon D700 and SB900 for real?
The new full frame from Nikon will be priced at 2600 euro, a sub USD4000 which is a lot more than what initially we thought it would be retailing- USD2999.The Nikon D700 is equipped with 12 Megapixel sensor, 51 AF System and the ability to shoot at 5 frames per second and 8 frames per second when coupled with the MB-D10 battery grip. All the above are same as the speculated rumors.
Once of the disappointing finding is its 95% viewfinder field. Full frame users are expecting 100% viewfinder field, even the D2H and D2X are featured with 100% viewfinder. The built in flash o the D700 will functions as the wireless flash control, a highly nticipated feature be fellow Nikon users.
The SB-900 is said as the successor of SB-800. Not much details about Nikon’s new flash.
The scan does look convincing, but with so many rumors and most of them fake, until Nikon really announces the Nikon D700, I would keep my fingers crossed, same as the folks as Crunchgears.
If you ask me, I vote for the Nikon D3!
