Final Experience with Tamrac – Shriro Malaysia

I have decided to give Shriro Malaysia a call since Ms. Lim who promised to reply my call on 1st October 2007 following my enquiry did not do so. We spoke on the phone regarding my enquiry last Friday (28th October 2007), more details here .

A Tamrac experience

This entry is about my personal experience dealing with Shriro Malaysia regarding Tamrac products. Below is how the whole incident goes.

 

During Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) 2007, I ordered for a Tamrac MX5379 and Tamrac Pro Digital Zoom 9 at the Shriro booth. I was told to pay and receive my items at Tarita Photo Malaysia. I was told that Shiriro is the main distributor for Tamrac products in Malaysia while Tarita Photo Malaysia is their reseller.

KLPF: A visitor’s point-of-view

The annual Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival aka KLPF was held on 15 and 16 September 2007 at 6th Floor Berjaya Times Square. Various manufacturer and digital photography related shop participated in the event.

Sony poaches Nikon executive to boost DSLR business

ImageSYDNEY: Sony Australia has appointed Nikon’s former professional photography national business manager, John Wallace, to manage its Alpha digital SLR camera product range in the newly created role of business development manager.

Wallace joins Sony ahead of an imminent expansion of the Alpha digital SLR camera range to three models, building on the original Alpha A100 first launched a year ago.
