(TechCentral)- CANON Marketing Malaysia has officially opened its first Canon EOS Pro Centre concept store at Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur. Liew Sip Chon, Canon president and chief executive officer, said the new EOS Pro Centre is the first of its kind in Malaysia and South East Asia.
The Canon EOS Pro Centre features a wide range of EOS (DSLR) professional cameras and accessories, allowing customers to try, touch and feel the products.
The centre can become an avenue for customers to come and discuss issues regarding their camera equipment. While they are here, customers can even try out new lenses and even purchase them,” said Liew.
Canon said the flagship concept store would also double up as a training centre offering seminars and photography workshops for both amateur and professional photographers.
“Aside from meeting the needs of our customers, photo associations can organise workshops and activities such as studio shooting sessions at the EOS Pro Centre,” said consumer imaging and information division assistant director, Calvyn Laang.
“We hope this new centre will act as a bench mark for other EOS Pro Centres in the near future,” said Liew.
