Nikon D3 does sports at ISO 6400

According to DigitalReview.ca, Nikon Canada Inc. recently offered accredited professional sports photographers (attending the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball home games at the Rogers Stadium in Toronto), the opportunity to try out initial production samples of the new Nikon D3 12.1 MP FX Format digital SLR.
Here are 4 of the sample photos taken during the match at high ISO.

Here are some high ISO images from Sony’s latest A700. ISO 3200, ISO 4000, ISO 5000, ISO 6400 can be seen. Sony claims the A700’s three-stage noise reduction process (on-chip, RAW file NR, and user controlled High ISO NR) will match the best results from competing Canon and Nikon models.

A Tamrac experience

This entry is about my personal experience dealing with Shriro Malaysia regarding Tamrac products. Below is how the whole incident goes.

During Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) 2007, I ordered for a Tamrac MX5379 and Tamrac Pro Digital Zoom 9 at the Shriro booth. I was told to pay and receive my items at Tarita Photo Malaysia. I was told that Shiriro is the main distributor for Tamrac products in Malaysia while Tarita Photo Malaysia is their reseller.
