Canon has announced free repairs for some EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1Ds Mark III digital SLR cameras that may suffer from problems with abnormal mirror operation.
Autofocus problem of Canon EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1Ds Mark III is not new, it has been around since the 2007. Therefore, Canon is now offering free accuracy checks and adjustments for any affected products.
An adjustment to one mirror should fix an autofocus problem that has tarnished the debut of Canon's high-end EOS-1D Mark III camera, the company said Thursday.
