If you think that this is an entry level DSLR for beginner, think again. The EOS 1000D is more than a beginner’s camera. It is a beginner’s camera with a number of 1D Mark III features.
Impression
Some similarity between the EOS 1000D and EOS 1D Mark III are 10.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor, powered by DIGIC III Image processor and has a built in EOS Integrated Cleaning System. Apart from the EOS 1000D’s only 3 frame per second shooting rate, this camera are suitable for most photographers to act as a backup body. The continuous shooting mode however has virtually no limit on shooting Large or Fine JPEGs at 3888 x 2592 pixels each as it can shoots as much as 514 images.
