Panasonic May Launch Compact-Style Micro Four Thirds Camera

After announcing the Lumix DMC-GH1 with D-SLR Photo Quality and Full-HD Movies, Panasonic may come up with a compact Micro Four Thirds camera.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 advertisement, the company’s first Micro Four Thirds camera.

Olympus is launching their first compact Micro Four Thirds this summer. The digital singe lens reflex’s size is similar to normal digital compacts, allowing users to carry the camera easily and enjoy high quality photo.

The company may consider to launch a more entry-level dslr than the G1 or a step up piece. Panasonic also emphasizes that they will keep on expanding their G Micro Four Thirds system.
